Weinberger Bowenworks

Powerful healing through gentle, holistic power.

What is Bowenwork?

"Bowenwork® is a system of touch that initiates a series of responses through stimulation of the nervous, musculoskeletal, fascial and energetic systems of the human body ... The purpose of a Bowenwork session is to activate the innate healing mechanisms within the body so that, given time, the autonomic nervous system will self-regulate ... and the body will heal to the extent it is able."

— American Bowen Academy™

In short, Bowenwork® uses gentle moves and touches to help the body to see and begin to repair an injury.

Whom does Bowenwork benefit?

Anyone, really. Because Bowenwork® is so gentle, it can be performed on anyone from newborns to the elderly.

According to the University of Arizona College of Nursing, "Cancer survivors have found Bowenwork® to be particularly helpful when trying to manage the symptoms associated with chemotherapy and surgical complications" (source).

All of the benefits of Bowenwork® are listed more fully here by the American Bowen Academy™.
